A small independent press

Linden Press publishes a handful of things each year: essays, short fiction, and the occasional collection of letters. We are two editors working from a shared table, and we print in small runs on uncoated paper, because we like books that feel good in the hand.

This page also serves as our notebook. Between books we write short notes on what we are reading, on the craft of editing, and on the slow work of making a text ready for print. New pieces appear when they are finished, not on a schedule.
